Smoky Shot is Gold Rush Fever's dedicated espresso roast: a precisely constructed triple-blend dark roast combining three complementary Arabica origins to achieve the balance and complexity that great espresso demands. Where single-origin coffees can lose structure at espresso pressure, a well-built espresso blend finds it.
The three-origin construction brings together a Latin American origin for dark chocolate and brown sugar sweetness, an East African component for dried fruit complexity and lift, and a Southeast Asian origin for a full, syrupy body and low acidity that holds everything together under the portafilter. The result pulls thick and rich with a crema that holds — smoky on the front, dark chocolate through the mid-palate, and a clean, lightly sweet finish that makes Smoky Shot work equally well as a straight double shot or as the espresso base in milk drinks.
Dialed in for espresso but versatile enough for Moka Pot and strong drip.
