Our Passion
Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, I was introduced to coffee at a young age spending every summer at my mother’s café in Seattle. I was there when the specialty coffee era began. Being too scared and, quite honestly, not having the funding, both my friend and I chickened out and let an original opportunity pass us by around 1985. Years later, after moving to Alaska, my love for coffee matured, as did the lifestyle of living off-grid in Alaska. During this time I drank lots of coffee and this is where my memories came up with several profile names. Now fast forward to today. Living in the Volunteer State of Tennessee, I continued to enhance my coffee indulgences and knowledge, still wanting to complete that dream of my old friend. I decided it was time; thus, Gold Rush Fever was born, and I look forward to sharing some of the knowledge and flavors I’ve developed with people everywhere.
